On October 10, 2025, CB Trafilati Acciai celebrates fifty years of industrial activity and entrepreneurial vision. Five decades of work, innovation, and relationships built with dedication and integrity now become an opportunity to pause, look back — and above all — to set our sights on what lies ahead.

CB50 is a special day, dedicated to those who have walked this path with us: colleagues, clients, suppliers, partners, and friends. A moment of celebration and recognition, but also a chance to share the values that have always guided us — and will continue to do so in the future.

Our history

1975 – 1985

The Origins

CB Trafilati Acciai is founded. A pioneering decade marked by the founders’ industrial vision and their will to build a solid company specialized in cold drawing. These are the foundational years: the company’s technical, organizational, and value-based pillars are established.

1985 – 1995

Growth

CBT enters a phase of rapid expansion. Investments increase, production capacity grows, and relationships with clients and suppliers are strengthened. This is the decade of industrial organization, of quality as a daily mission, and of a reputation built in the field.

1996 – 2006

Openness and Vision

CBT becomes a strategic partner and driving force behind the founding of FAR S.p.A., helping to launch a new industrial player in the steel sector. This decade is also marked by new skills, new challenges, and a stronger business culture, with key figures joining the company’s governance.

2007 – 2017

A Stronger Identity

The Beri Family acquires 100% of CB’s share capital — a significant milestone that ensures continuity and a long-term vision for corporate governance. During this period, CB also acquires ITAS S.p.A. in Mantua, expanding its operational scope and technical expertise.

2018 – 2028

Innovation and the Future

CBT focuses on efficiency and consolidation: the production site in Tezze sul Brenta is expanded, and all Mantua facilities are transferred and integrated. A strategic move driven by sustainability, streamlined production, and the ambition to enter new markets.
